Construction Commences on $60M Suburban Portland Mixed-Use Project
May 22, 2008

Construction has gotten underway on Battle Ground Village, a 140,000-square-foot mixed-use retail development in Battle Ground, Wash., about 25 miles outside of Portland, Oregon. The Gold Medal Group is behind the project, which will feature both large and small retail shops, as well as restaurants, offices and a 13,000-square-foot library. It will also be accented by a neighboring residential property, the 40-unit Oaks at Battle Ground Village. Designed by Myhre Group Architects, Battle Ground Village will be just one segment of Gold Medal's larger, 108-acre mixed-use development in the quickly growing city where there is a dearth of retail options.
