Disney's Wide World of Sports may be the venue for America's largest bowling stadium. The stadium's planned design includes 100 lanes, stadium-style seating, and a restaurant, and would be open to the public when not used for tournaments, Disney officials told the Orlando Sentinel.
"It's big. It will be big for the area," Winter Springs bowler Ray Turgeon told the Sentinel. "For a lot of new bowlers who have not bowled in a national tournament, it would be great." Disney is not yet naming the company which will build and operate the 160,000 square-foot stadium.
