ADT Security Leases 14,000 SF in New York City

CB Richard Ellis arranged a 14,000-square-foot lease on behalf of ADT Security Services at 229 West 28th Street in Manhattan, N.Y.  The 10-year lease includes the building’s 12,500-square-foot fifth floor and 1,500 square feet of basement space for storage and distribution.  Joss Realty Partners is the landlord. Barry Bernstein and David Danick, of Winoker Realty Co., represented Joss Realty Partners.

Matrix Development Group has acquired an 82-acre site in New Jersey that includes a total of some 342,000 square feet across 13 office and labratory buildings. The site has 2,000 feet of frontage on the New Jersey Turnpike near exit 8A.
Thomson Expands Princeton Lease

Mack-Cali Realty Corp. said today that Thomson Inc. has extended the term of its existing 62,500-square-foot lease at 2 Independence Way at Princeton Corporate Center in Princeton, N. J.  In addition, the company has agreed to lease the building’s remaining 4,800 square feet.

The American Commerce Center, a $1 billion, mixed-use skyscraper proposed for 1800 Arch St., in Philadelphia’s Center City, moved another step closer to reality this week when the city’s planning commission unanimously approved zoning changes for the 1.5-acre site.
pier 57 NYC's Pier 57 Attracts Trio of Renovation Proposals

At the edge of Manhattan’s Meat Packing District in Chelsea, Pier 57 abuts an area that has seen a burst of activity over the last decade. Located at the end of West 15th St. and encompassing some 375,000 square feet of waterfront space plus rooftop area, the pier is now the focus for three bids for renovation.
