An up-and-coming mixed-use project is expected to create 2,000 jobs in Foxborough, Mass., over the next year. Patriot Place, a 1.3 million-square-foot retail and hotel facility, is being backed by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and already has a slate of stores open, including Staples, Circuit City, and Christmas Tree Shops. More than half of the project's 70 stores are expected to be open by September.

Retailers seeking to hire include the CBS Scene Restaurant & Bar, a tri-level, 15,000-square-foot restaurant and entertainment venue, which according to the Boston Business Journal needs to hire 150 workers.
